- A recognised safety qualification such as NEBOSH International General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH or equivalent
- Strong grasp of hazard identification, risk assessment and the hierarchy of controls
- Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, contractor safety management and ISO 45001
- Understanding of UAE occupational health and safety requirements
- Strong technical writing and communication, and comfortable with digital safety and document systems
- Able to work independently with geographically distributed teams
