Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Direction
- Define and execute product direction for a key payments area, establishing priorities, goals, and success metrics
- Improve merchant and shopper experiences across critical payment journeys, including onboarding, checkout, refunds, disputes, payouts, and reporting
Optimization & Data-Driven Decisions
- Identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve product quality, lower support demand, and increase user trust
- Use data insights, customer feedback, support trends, and business signals to determine priorities
Partner & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with payment partners to improve integrations, manage dependencies, and resolve technical or operational challenges
- Work closely with engineering and design teams on complex product problems, balancing user needs and technical constraints
Stakeholder Alignment & Documentation
- Maintain strong stakeholder alignment through clear documentation, progress communication, and risk management
- Create and refine product documentation, including requirements, briefs, and workflows throughout the product lifecycle
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product management, including senior individual contributor experience owning complex products
- 4+ years of experience working in payments, fintech, or related financial technology environments at significant scale
- Experience working on high-trust, mission-critical systems where reliability and user confidence are essential
Essential Skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through strong communication, prioritization, and execution
- Strong product sense and ability to make effective decisions in ambiguous situations
