Position Overview
This Shisha Maker role involves preparing, setting up, and serving shisha to the highest standard, ensuring consistency in flavor, coal management, and presentation that reflects Al Safadi’s commitment to authentic Lebanese hospitality. The role requires strong technical shisha-making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities
Shisha Preparation & Presentation
- Prepare, set up, and serve shisha to the highest standard
- Ensure consistency in flavor, coal management, and presentation
- Maintain consistent smoke quality, flavor, and presentation across all orders
Guest Service & Recommendations
- Recommend flavors and combinations based on guest preference
- Proactively monitor and refresh shisha throughout service
Safety, Hygiene & Stock Management
- Follow safe handling practices for coal and shisha equipment
- Adhere to hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
- Monitor flavor and equipment stock levels and report supply needs in a timely manner
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a shisha maker/preparer in a restaurant, lounge, hotel, or hospitality group
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or F&B training is a plus
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of tobacco/flavor types, coal management, heat control, and shisha assembly and maintenance
- Good knowledge of safe handling of coal and equipment
- Fluency in English required; Arabic strongly preferred
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work evening/night shifts
