This Supply Chain Manager role involves project management and coordination in operational purchasing within an international environment, ensuring on-time procurement of assemblies and components at optimal conditions, actively steering supplier capacity assurance, optimizing disposition along the supply chain, evaluating suppliers from a logistics perspective, and coordinating deployment dates for technical changes and series launches.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Coordination & Project Management
- Handle project management and coordination tasks in operational purchasing within an international environment
- Ensure on-time procurement of assemblies and components at optimal conditions
- Monitor delivery dates and overall procurement performance
Supplier Capacity & Disposition Management
- Actively steer supplier capacity assurance, considering plausibility and planning conformity
- Optimize disposition along the supply chain with a focus on supply security and inventory levels
- Coordinate deployment dates for technical changes and series launches
Supplier Evaluation & Development
- Evaluate suppliers from a logistics perspective and support their development
- Provide the basis for management discussions with company leadership
- Continuously develop the existing supplier structure through data-based, innovative approaches
Quality & Performance Management
- Initiate appropriate measures in cases of performance issues and quality deficiencies
- Ensure consistently high delivery quality across the supply chain
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in business/economics, technician qualification, or commercial training in purchasing with several years of relevant work experience
Experience Requirements
- Experience in supply chain management with multi-stage procurement chains
Essential Skills
- Very good IT skills, ideally in SAP and MS Office
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Structured and independent way of working
- Technical understanding and strong process-oriented thinking
