Position Overview
This Quality Specialist role at Wholly Hearty in Dammam involves conducting inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to approved procedures, and performing routine pre-operational and operational inspections of processing lines. You will monitor production activities for compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, GMP, and safety guidelines, perform routine quality checks and maintain accurate inspection records, report and segregate non-conforming materials, ensure compliance with HACCP and SFDA regulations, support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives, and verify that measuring and inspection equipment is clean, functional, and calibrated.

Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Checks
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
- Perform routine pre-operational and operational inspections of processing lines
- Perform routine quality checks and maintain accurate inspection records
- Follow approved procedures for consistent, reliable inspection results
Production Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Ensure adherence to food safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, company procedures, and SFDA regulations
- Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and food safety policies
Non-Conformance & Reporting
- Report and segregate non-conforming materials or products
- Communicate quality issues promptly to relevant teams
- Support product traceability and quality investigations
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of quality findings
Audits, Equipment & Continuous Improvement
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Verify that measuring and inspection equipment is clean, functional, and calibrated
- Contribute to process improvements that strengthen product quality
- Assist the Quality team with ongoing compliance and improvement projects
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in Quality Control within a food manufacturing environment
Essential Skills
- Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety principles, and SFDA requirements
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills for documentation and teamwork
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
