Position Overview
This Graduate Technician Trainee role involves participating in classroom and hands-on training to maintain and service generators and related equipment, gaining in-depth knowledge of power generator electronics and mechanics, assisting senior technicians with maintenance, commissioning and repair tasks, maintaining detailed training and service records, and strictly following Aggreko’s QHSE and safety protocols throughout the 18-month programme.

Key Responsibilities
Training & Skill Development
- Participate in classroom and hands-on training to gain practical generator maintenance experience
- Gain in-depth knowledge of power generator electronics and mechanics, including maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting
Hands-On Support & Fieldwork
- Assist senior technicians in maintenance, commissioning and repair tasks
- Actively participate in resolving generator breakdowns in various locations
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed records of training progress, service reports and equipment inspections
- Strictly follow Aggreko’s QHSE and safety protocols at all times
Key Performance Indicators
- Successful completion of the 18-month training programme and logbook
- Ability to independently perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks by programme end
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Consistent adherence to safety and compliance standards
