- Foster digital economy solutions including digital payments, regulations, and digital identification systems for Arab member countries
- Lead the integration of AI and digital economy initiatives with AMF’s strategic goals, policy advice, and capacity-building mandate
- Stay abreast of the latest AI, ML, and digital economy trends, technologies, and best practices — introducing innovative methodologies to enhance member country policy effectiveness
Climate Change, Green Finance & Energy Security
- Contribute to developing climate change and energy policies ensuring energy security, economic competitiveness, and carbon emission reduction — including circular carbon economy frameworks
- Conduct and publish in-depth frontier research on climate finance, green finance, energy transition, and energy security affecting Arab economies
- Create and deliver training courses and workshops on climate finance and energy transition for AMF member country officials

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in economics — preferably in Central Banks, Ministries of Economy/Finance, Digital Economy, or Energy institutions, or international/regional financial institutions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- Excellent communication and writing skills in both Arabic and English — mandatory
- Strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and experience delivering training courses
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- Quantitative and analytical expertise — proficiency in AI and data analytics tools including Python and R
- Professional certifications: Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) by GARP; Certified Energy Manager (CEM) by AEE; Data Science and Machine Learning by AWS — preferred
- Experience managing research projects at an international or regional institution
