Position Overview
This PMC Construction Supervisor — E&I at Wood in Abu Dhabi supervises, coordinates, and monitors all construction activities executed by EPC contractors in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, approved drawings, HSE requirements, quality procedures, and project schedules. Acting as the PMC representative at site, the role coordinates the FEED/EPC Contractor from construction through commissioning and handover, reviews and provides input to construction and installation plans, monitors EPC contractor and subcontractor performance, maintains adherence to safety and quality requirements, provides constructability input to designs, and liaises closely with the ADNOC Onshore PMT team on all aspects of design and technical data.

Key Responsibilities
PMC Supervision, Coordination & EPC Contractor Management
- Supervise, coordinate, monitor, and inspect work performed by EPC contractors and EPC contractor subcontractors at construction locations in accordance with ADNOC Onshore policy
- Maintain EPC contractor adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements for construction — enforcing the Construction Scope of the FEED/EPC Contract
- Review and provide input to the overall construction/installation plan, procedures, and requirements developed by FEED/EPC contractors to ensure efficient constructability
- Participate in identifying construction schedule slippage and recommend corrective actions for EPC contractor implementation
Commissioning, Handover & Pre-Commissioning Activities
- Coordinate FEED/EPC Contractors from construction through commissioning and formal handover of FEED/EPC works
- Apply thorough working knowledge and experience of construction completion procedures and pre-commissioning activities
- Coordinate and assist fabrication works at EPC contractor or subcontractor fabrication facilities as required
- Interface with ADNOC Onshore Operations groups as and when necessary throughout the project lifecycle
Technical, HSE & Engineering Review
- Review engineering design drawings and challenge work content for improvement or cost-effective methodology — without compromise to safety
- Challenge engineering detail for possible areas where hot work can be reduced or minimised
- Coordinate and carry out required timely Constructability reviews in line with model progression — ensuring Constructability Readiness reviews are addressed
- Participate actively in HSE improvement activities, promoting HSE elements throughout all construction development activities
Procurement, Controls & Documentation
- Liaise closely with the ADNOC Onshore PMT team on all aspects of design and technical data
- Liaise with the Procurement team on materials and equipment deliverables for alignment to overall project schedules
- Coordinate with Project Controls on work order issuance progress and proposed completion dates
- Formulate construction deliverables in line with project procedures for content and accuracy — assist with construction input to bid preparation and estimates
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 10–15 years of pipeline construction experience in oil and gas projects
- Minimum 5 years in a PMC or Client Representative supervisory role
- ADNOC Onshore project experience — preferred
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.4/B31.8 pipeline standards
- Strong knowledge of API standards applicable to onshore oil and gas pipeline construction
- Deep familiarity with ADNOC Onshore specifications and construction requirements
- Sound understanding of pipeline welding and NDT requirements
- Proven experience with hydrotesting and commissioning procedures
