Key Responsibilities
DOL & Reversing Starter Installation and Commissioning
- Install, wire, test, and commission Siemens direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter circuits to full functional readiness
- Install, wire, test, and commission Siemens forward/reverse (reversing) motor starter circuits including mechanical and electrical interlocking
- Select, set, and verify overload relays and protection devices against motor nameplate data
- Carry out continuity, insulation resistance, phase rotation, and functional testing prior to energization
Fault Diagnosis & Root Cause Analysis
- Diagnose faults on installed and running motor control systems — read the schematic, trace the circuit, isolate the cause, and prove it
- Investigate intermittent and recurring faults, perform structured root cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective action
- Work with control circuits and control relays at 24V DC and 110V AC including timers, auxiliary contacts, and interposing relays
