Position Overview
The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor at CHANGAN Automobile in Dubai oversees all aspects of the spare parts warehouse operation — from on-site receiving, repackaging, shelving, picking, packing, and outbound activities through WMS system management, inventory aging control, export shipment monitoring, packaging plan management, and logistics service provider assessment. The role also carries full responsibility for monthly warehousing and logistics cost settlement, overall cost control, and safety management across fire safety and material safety — all requiring fluency in both Chinese and English for effective communication with CHANGAN’s global team.

Key Responsibilities
Spare Parts Warehouse Management
- Manage all aspects of spare parts warehouse operations including on-site activities, WMS system integration, and physical inventory
- Oversee inventory aging management and conduct periodic inventory checks to maintain accurate and reliable stock records
- Supervise on-site spare parts operations including receiving, repackaging, shelving, picking, packing, and all outbound activities
- Ensure operational timeliness across all warehouse activities and achieve all defined warehouse performance KPIs consistently
Packaging & Export Shipment Management
- Manage spare parts packaging operations including developing packaging plans, export packaging standards, and label management
- Monitor and analyse export spare parts shipments — covering storage area management, outbound waiting times, and return processing
- Ensure all export packaging meets CHANGAN’s specifications and international shipping requirements for safe product delivery
- Coordinate with relevant teams on export shipment schedules, documentation, and compliance with cross-border logistics requirements
Logistics Cost Control & Service Provider Management
- Responsible for monthly settlement of all warehousing and logistics costs, including full cost control and optimisation initiatives
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities across warehouse operations and logistics service provider agreements
- Manage relationships with all warehousing and logistics service providers — including procurement evaluation and daily performance assessment
- Ensure logistics service providers deliver the required service levels, compliance standards, and operational performance consistently
Warehouse Safety Management
- Manage comprehensive spare parts warehouse safety, covering fire safety protocols and material safety requirements
- Ensure all safety standards and emergency procedures are in place, understood, and followed by all warehouse personnel
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all safety documentation, records, and compliance requirements are maintained
- Proactively identify and address safety risks or gaps across all areas of the spare parts warehouse operation
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above — required for this senior warehouse and logistics supervisory role within CHANGAN Automobile
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in warehousing or logistics specifically within the automotive industry
- Proven hands-on experience managing spare parts warehouse operations including WMS systems and inventory management
- Experience overseeing export spare parts logistics, packaging management, and logistics service provider relationships
Essential Skills & Language Requirements
- Proficient in written and oral communication in both Chinese and English — bilingual ability is a firm requirement for this role
