Position Overview
The successful candidate will establish reliability standards, analyze equipment failures and performance data, develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies, optimize maintenance programs, and lead initiatives that improve availability, reduce downtime, and lower total cost of ownership across facilities, plants, infrastructure, and operational assets.

Key Responsibilities
Reliability Strategy & Asset Criticality
- Develop and implement a comprehensive reliability strategy aligned with operational and business objectives
- Conduct asset criticality assessments and develop criticality-based maintenance and monitoring strategies
Failure Analysis & Root Cause Investigation
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations using 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, and FMEA
- Develop and maintain Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) for critical equipment and systems
Maintenance Strategy & Predictive Monitoring
- Implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs and optimize maintenance intervals
- Establish predictive-maintenance programs using vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasound
Data Analytics & Risk Management
- Develop asset-performance dashboards tracking MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and reliability analytics
- Develop reliability risk registers and coordinate critical spare parts strategies with Procurement and Stores
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or related discipline
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, asset management, engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing reliability-improvement programs
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, RCM, criticality assessment, and failure analysis
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and asset-performance management
- Experience analyzing MTBF, MTTR, availability, failure rates, and maintenance performance
- Experience with CMMS, EAM, ERP, or asset-management systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong data-analysis capabilities
- Strong leadership, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a fully remote environment
Advantageous Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), CMRP, or CRL
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous-improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of UAE/GCC industrial, facilities, utilities, infrastructure, or energy sectors
- Arabic language proficiency
