Position Overview
The Harvest Technician role is responsible for executing all tasks associated with the harvest phase of cannabis cultivation at Theraplant. This includes identifying, chopping, and transporting plants with precision, sanitizing work areas, following compliance protocols, bucking flowers to prepare for trimming, and monitoring quality throughout the drying process, all while maintaining cleanliness and strict adherence to company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
Harvesting & Plant Handling
- Identify, chop, and transport plants with precision and cleanliness
- Climb ladders safely to load and unload drying areas
- Buck flowers efficiently to prepare for trimming
Sanitation & Compliance
- Sanitize work areas and clean bins to meet high sanitation standards
- Follow all compliance protocols, including green waste handling
- Observe safety protocols and facility security procedures
Quality Monitoring & Drying
- “Burp” bins regularly to ensure proper drying and terpene preservation
- Monitor quality and resolve any product concerns
Team Collaboration & Flexibility
- Work independently or within a team to meet daily goals
- Adapt to workflow changes and shifting production needs
- Remain available for weekend shifts as required

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods, up to eight-hour shifts
- Frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to talk and hear clearly
- Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Visual requirements include both close and distance vision
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00/hour
401(k): Available after 2 months of employment
Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting the 1st of the month after 60 days
Time Off: Vacation and sick time available after 3 months of employment
