 Position Overview
This X Community & Growth Manager role involves turning X into a genuine growth channel, building OpenArt’s presence into a hub for AI creators, and running experiments across content, distribution, community programs, and acquisition. You will build community formats and programs, win visibility across the wider AI and creator side of X, experiment constantly, and act as OpenArt’s eyes and ears on user sentiment and emerging AI trends.

Turn X Into a Growth Channel
- Own the strategy, execution, and results for X, building OpenArt’s presence from the ground up
- Set ambitious weekly and monthly growth goals and run experiments across content, distribution, and acquisition
- Track what drives impressions, engagement, follower growth, traffic, and signups
Build a Community People Want to Join
- Create recurring formats, challenges, showcases, threads, Spaces, and community programs
- Turn great community contributions into shareable moments and support long-term community advocates
- Manage replies, mentions, and DMs without making it feel corporate
Win Beyond the Own Account & Experiment Constantly
- Understand conversations across AI, video, filmmaking, design, and creator circles on X
- Build relationships with creators, power users, and community leaders
- Generate ideas independently, launch experiments quickly, and turn winners into repeatable systems
Be OpenArt’s Eyes and Ears on X
- Track sentiment, feature requests, complaints, and competitor mentions
- Turn X insights into clear, useful input for product, growth, and marketing teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Skills
- Deep understanding of X’s culture, humor, subcultures, and unwritten rules
- Experience growing communities, audiences, social accounts, or organic acquisition channels
- A growth mindset rather than a pure content mindset
- Highly experimental, comfortable trying ideas that might fail
- Excellent, natural English writing that sounds human, not corporate
- Strong understanding of generative AI and the space’s fast pace of change
- Ability to move from idea to execution without weeks of planning
Bonus Experience
- Personally grown an X account or community from zero
- Grown an organic channel with measurable traffic or user acquisition
- Familiarity with AI image or video creation tools
- Understanding of X search and how the algorithm surfaces content
- Experience with creators, ambassadors, affiliates, or UGC programs
- Ability to create simple memes, graphics, GIFs, or videos
