 Position Overview
This Support Officer role involves providing first-level technical support for mechanical systems and equipment, assisting with inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, compressors, and generators. You will support troubleshooting under senior engineer supervision, monitor system performance and report abnormalities, assist with installation and commissioning, maintain accurate maintenance records, and ensure adherence to HSE policies at all times.

 Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Preventive Maintenance
- Provide first-level technical support for mechanical systems, equipment, and related infrastructure
- Assist in inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, compressors, generators, and piping systems
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and basic setup of mechanical equipment and systems
Troubleshooting & Monitoring
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical faults and coordinate corrective actions under senior engineer supervision
- Monitor mechanical system performance and report abnormalities, breakdowns, vibration issues, leaks, or safety concerns
Documentation, Compliance & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and technical documentation
- Support compliance with mechanical safety standards, regulations, and engineering policies
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance and repair works
- Assist in preparing technical reports, work permits, and risk assessments as assigned
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
