Position Overview
This UAE National Laboratory Technician role at IC Schools Al Maharat in Abu Dhabi supports laboratory operations by preparing equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing; performing laboratory procedures according to established protocols; maintaining and coordinating servicing of lab equipment; monitoring inventory and ordering supplies; ensuring compliance with laboratory safety regulations and infection control procedures; maintaining accurate records and documentation; assisting faculty, instructors, and students during laboratory sessions; safely disposing of laboratory waste; and performing quality control procedures while reporting equipment malfunctions promptly.

Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Preparation & Practical Session Support
- Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing in line with session requirements
- Assist faculty, instructors, and students during laboratory sessions to ensure smooth and safe practical operations
- Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols with accuracy and attention to detail
Equipment Maintenance & Inventory Management
- Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate servicing when required to ensure continued operational readiness
- Monitor laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed to prevent disruption to laboratory operations
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and follow up on corrective actions
Safety, Infection Control & Waste Disposal
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and infection control procedures at all times
- Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment for all users
Quality Control & Documentation
- Perform quality control procedures to ensure laboratory outputs meet required standards

Educational Requirements
