Nestlé UAE LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager – Medical Delegate responsible for ethical detailing of Nestlé Nutrition products in assigned territory by communicating accurate information to medical/paramedical contacts about infant nutrition products, their features, benefits, and appropriate use within WHO International Code guidelines, resulting in advocacy for Nestlé’s branded and unbranded nutritional solutions.
Position Summary
The Medical Delegate Assistant Manager serves as Nestlé Nutrition’s ambassador to healthcare professionals, providing scientifically accurate information about infant feeding practices and nutritional solutions. This critical role ensures that healthcare professionals receive reliable, evidence-based information to support mothers and infants while maintaining strict adherence to WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes and Nestlé Instructions.
Working within Abu Dhabi territory, you will develop professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), organize educational events, and position Nestlé as a trusted partner in infant nutrition while always promoting the message that “Breastfeeding is Best for Babies.”

As Medical Delegate Assistant Manager at Nestlé Abu Dhabi, your daily responsibilities include:
Breastfeeding Advocacy & Education
- Promote Nestlé’s belief that Breastfeeding is Best for Babies
- Communicate that breastfeeding is recommendable over all other feeding alternatives for infants
- Provide accurate, ethical information about infant nutrition when mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed
- Ensure all communications align with WHO International Code guidelines
Medical Information & Advisory Services
- Provide reliable information on infant nutrition and feeding practices for medical/paramedical contacts
- Address topics that interest or affect healthcare professionals in their regular practice
- Deliver information according to current cycle detailing objectives and approved materials
- Become a reference advisor on infant nutrition topics for HCP community
Scientific Meetings & Events Organization
- Participate in organization and running of Product Knowledge scientific meetings
- Organize Nutrition or related topics medical/paramedical scientific meetings
- Manage meeting sponsorship and guest lecturer invitation for territory activities
- Plan and implement key HCP events, seminars, and conferences in territory
Territory Coverage & Management
- Ensure optimum territory coverage and management in Abu Dhabi
- Conduct prospection and gather insights including competitive intelligence
- Utilize relevant tools and systems like CRM 2.0 for territory management
- Maintain HCP database in CRM system accurately and comprehensively
- Submit reports on time documenting activities and outcomes
- Propose territory supply of communication and educational materials/resources
Hospital Engagement & Presence
- Ensure education and presence of Nestlé Infant Nutrition products/concepts/science in hospitals within territory
- Aim at improving availability and hospital shares for Nestlé products
- Develop partnerships with hospital decision makers and influencers
Healthcare Professional Relationship Development
- Develop long-term mutually beneficial professional relationships with HCPs and relevant medical decision makers
- Engage with HCPs in variety of ways: face-to-face, seminars, conferences, and events
- Build trust through ethical, evidence-based communication
- Position Nestlé as reliable partner in infant nutrition
Compliance & Ethical Standards
- Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken to WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes
- Comply with Nestlé Instructions and local UAE country codes
- Maintain highest ethical standards in all HCP interactions
- Document compliance in all activities and communications

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS or MD)
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Biological Sciences
Professional Experience
- Prior experience as Medical Delegate is desirable
- Experience in pharmaceutical or nutrition sales preferred
- Background working with healthcare professionals advantageous
- Experience in infant nutrition or maternal health beneficial
