Position Overview
This Associate Expeditor role involves working on assigned projects, executing expediting frequency based on Purchase Order Expediting Level, and liaising with suppliers to facilitate the status of project goods and materials. You will identify supplier performance gaps and delivery delays, monitor materials and shipping status, coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests, resolve Over/Short/Damage reports, and drive accurate, timely project status and expediting reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Project Expediting & Supplier Liaison
- Work on assigned projects and understand the expediting strategy for each
- Execute expediting frequency based on the Expediting Level assigned to the Purchase Order
- Liaise with suppliers and other functions to facilitate the status of project goods and materials
- Identify supplier performance gaps and potential delivery delays, advising others in a timely fashion
Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Monitor supplier materials, buy-out status, fabrication progress, and shipping/documentation status
- Anticipate early production problems and ensure planned production is not delayed by resource shortages
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve potential problems that may delay delivery of goods or services
- Resolve open PO deliveries and ensure OS&Ds and ERIRs are addressed and closed out
Coordination & Reporting
- Input consistent, timely updates in the Company system and distribute expediting reports to the Project Team and Suppliers
- Coordinate Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) timing with suppliers, package managers, engineers, and inspectors
- Coordinate with the traffic coordinator to resolve export compliance requirements and obtain shipping documents
- Drive accurate and timely project status reporting and weekly expediting reports
- Ensure all packages are closed out after Final Documentation is received
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline, or HSD/GED/IGCSE with 2 years of relevant experience
Experience Requirements
- 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Materials Management systems for procurement and logistics
Essential Skills
- Solid understanding of expediting systems used to support project execution
- Understanding of the expediting process as outlined in the Unifi system
- Ability to apply knowledge in expediting work activities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Understanding of the overall material management lifecycle
