The Associate Production Manager role at IFFCO’s Saudi refinery is responsible for making sure production systems and working methods run optimally, supporting the routine requirements of partner departments, institutional supplies, and sister companies. You’ll be accountable for the uptime of every plant and machine across the refinery complex, which means working closely with maintenance to plan preventive work and respond quickly to breakdowns. Cost discipline matters just as much: you’ll keep oil losses, utility use, and chemical consumption within agreed budgets, and look for process changes that reduce waste. Product quality is non-negotiable, so you’ll ensure that all final products meet the norms the company prescribes. Coordination is a big part of the job. You’ll work with supply chain to keep filling and margarine operations supplied on schedule, coordinate with customer service on bulk filling and by-product lifting, and handle the safe disposal of raw and finished products. When accidents happen, you’ll lead thorough investigations and make sure the same causes don’t return. Plant hygiene is held to company standards throughout, and you’ll motivate and develop the refinery team along the way.
As Associate Production Manager, you’ll build deep expertise in refining technology, production planning, and edible oil processing, while sharpening your skills in quality management, safety procedures, documentation, and reporting. Your success will be tracked through measures such as overall equipment effectiveness, first-time-around performance, in-house stock reconciliation, volume achieved with safety and hygiene intact, and reductions in oil loss through process optimization. The ideal candidate brings three to five years of relevant experience and a B.Tech or M.Tech in chemical or oil technology, with a specialization in edible oil processing. Strong communication, self and team management, sound planning and decision-making, customer focus, and a sense of ownership with a drive for results complete the profile.
