Main Purpose
The Basic Quality Operator must work as part of team on actual packaging operation, cleaning, hygiene, housekeeping, and safety in work. The candidate must ensure that machine/section is performing within procedures and time constraints outlined by company so as to obtain acceptable quality, minimal waste and maximized efficiency. The Basic Quality Operator should have capability to work in more than one area in factory in order to provide flexibility while being supported by core skills to work within autonomous team.

Key Responsibilities
As Basic Quality Operator at Lipton Teas Dubai, your responsibilities include:
Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Understand and adhere to all safety and environmental procedures related to Sourcing Unit and assigned equipment
- Ensure secure work environment for team
- Recognize personal legal responsibilities and act accordingly
- Report Safety Near Miss incidents, Unsafe conditions, and Unsafe acts meeting monthly targets
Quality Inspection & Monitoring
- Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured products at various stages of production process
- Inspect raw materials, components, and finished goods ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications
- Understanding of quality defects and identification
- Monitor, maintain and keep record of PRPs, OPRPs and CCPs of food safety management systems
- Escalate in case of any deviation from standards
GMP Compliance & Auditing
- Conduct GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) audits
- Report Quality GMP incidents and meet monthly targets
- Support implementation of GMP related initiatives
- Maintain 5S in Quality laboratory
Packaging Operations
- Work on actual packaging operation as part of team
- Ensure machine/section performs within procedures and time constraints
- Obtain acceptable quality with minimal waste
- Maximize operational efficiency
- Packaging material knowledge and handling
Cleaning, Hygiene & Housekeeping
- Maintain high standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout work area
- Support housekeeping activities ensuring organized workspace
- Maintain 5S standards in all areas
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Documentation and data logging of all quality activities
- Keep accurate records of inspections and findings
- Support back-tracking activities when required
- Maintain proper quality documentation
Escalation & Additional Duties
- Excellent understanding and application of escalation procedure
- Perform any additional duties as required by situation
- Work flexibly across multiple factory areas as needed
Experience, Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this basic quality operator position must possess:
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing company known for strict safety and quality standards
- Preferably in Food and Beverage industry
- Worked effectively as part of Quality or Manufacturing team
Technical Skills
- Quality principles and Basic Food Safety knowledge
- Packaging material knowledge
- Documentation and data logging capabilities
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word)
- Basic knowledge of computer operations
Communication Skills
- Capable of both spoken and written English communication
- Proficient in reading and general comprehension
- Strong team player with good communication skills
