Position Overview
This C++ Software Engineer role centers on developing and maintaining connections to cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers, troubleshooting market data issues, and developing new features for high-load trading systems. Key Responsibilities
Exchange Connectivity & Market Data
- Develop and maintain connections to cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers
- Troubleshoot market data issues as they arise
Feature Development
- Develop and implement new features for trading systems
- Continuously improve system performance and reliability
Collaboration & Algorithm Improvement
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure correct behavior of algorithms
- Continuously improve trading systems through cross-team input
Bug Resolution & Technical Support
- Assist with identifying and resolving smaller bugs and technical issues
- Support the ongoing stability of high-load trading infrastructure
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience
- Extensive experience with C++
- Proven experience working with high-load applications
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Good understanding of networking concepts
- Knowledge of financial markets and low-latency/high-frequency systems and/or distributed systems
- Proficiency with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Python and/or Kafka
- Experience working with networking protocols such as REST, WebSockets, and FIX
