Position Overview

The Cloud Software Engineer at Columbia Technology Partners will support the full lifecycle of cloud-based application development — from requirements analysis and design through integration, testing, and long-term sustainment — within mission-critical federal technology environments. Available at two career levels, this role covers cloud-native application development, distributed computing, big data processing, CI/CD pipeline automation, and advanced cloud architecture. You design distributed cloud solutions, build scalable APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to Big Data analytics environments — all while operating under a trusted security clearance framework. This is not an ordinary software engineering job. At CTP, your work is critical, your pay reflects that, and your career development is actively funded. This is a defining career move for serious cloud engineers in Maryland.
