Position Overview
As EMR-Projektingenieur, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering and quality-assuring MSR (measurement, control and regulation) requirements in the process industry. You manage several complex customer projects at once, using internal and external resources. You win projects and orders, clarify technical points for cost estimates, write quotes and deliver on time, cost and performance. You calculate, size and specify MSR equipment from field instruments to process control hardware, write requirement and functional specifications, track installation progress and run or coordinate functional tests, acceptance and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, deliver and quality-assure MSR requirements in the process industry
- Manage several complex customer projects independently, using internal and external resources
- Win projects and orders, clarify technical points for cost estimates and write quotes
Engineering
- Calculate, size and specify MSR equipment from field instruments to process control hardware
- Write requirement and functional specifications (Lastenheft, Pflichtenheft)
Delivery & Coordination
- Track installation progress and record deviations
- Run or coordinate functional tests, acceptance and commissioning
- Coordinate internal and external staff and award third-party services lawfully; help shape service agreements and procurement
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Engineering degree in electrical engineering, automation or a comparable qualification
Experience & Skills
- Several years in MSR planning and project management in the process industry, at a high quality level
- Strong knowledge of measurement, control and regulation, explosion protection and functional safety
- Solid project management methods and experience leading staff and project teams
Personal & Language
- Strong communication and cooperation, results-oriented and independent
- Very good German and good English, written and spoken
- Willingness to join expert committees and to travel within Germany occasionally
