Position Overview
This Financial Accountant role spans the full accounting cycle, from receivables and payables to general ledger and fixed assets. You will manage collections, liquidity and cash flow, produce monthly reports and prepare the annual closing.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
- Own financial accounting: accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and fixed assets
- Prepare and analyse monthly business reports (BWA), cost allocation sheets (BAB), profit and loss statements and key figures to support controlling
- Handle monthly closings and VAT returns and EC sales lists (USt-VA, ZM)
Cash & Receivables
- Active receivables management, including dunning
- Proactive liquidity and cash flow management
Year-End & Stakeholders
- Prepare and coordinate the annual financial statements and support tax audits
- Act as contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks and authorities
- Support budget planning, forecasts and the ongoing improvement of finance processes
- Ensure compliance with tax, commercial law and internal rules
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification
- Completed commercial training with further education as Finanzbuchhalter, tax assistant, Bilanzbuchhalter or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years in financial accounting, preferably in trading or mid-sized companies
- Sound knowledge of receivables, payables and general ledger
- Experience with annual financial statements and BWA reports
- Strong understanding of liquidity and cash management
