Key Responsibilities
Food Safety Systems Implementation
- Implement comprehensive food safety systems and protocols for fresh fruits handling operations
- Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations and international standards
- Maintain HACCP Level 4 protocols and critical control points throughout operations
- Develop and update food safety procedures and documentation
Fresh Fruits Safety & Quality Management
- Oversee fresh fruits handling procedures ensuring safety and quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections of fresh produce storage, handling, and distribution areas
- Monitor temperature control systems and cold chain management
- Implement pest control programs and sanitation protocols
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain relevant certifications
- Conduct internal food safety audits and assessments
- Maintain detailed documentation and records for regulatory compliance
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities
Training & Team Development
- Train staff on food safety protocols and fresh fruits handling procedures
- Conduct food safety awareness sessions and competency assessments
- Ensure team understanding of safety requirements and best practices
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to operations teams
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
- Identify food safety risks and implement corrective and preventive actions

Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Food Science degree or related education
- OR Nutrition degree
- OR Chemistry degree
- OR Microbiology degree
- OR other related education in food safety or quality management
Certification Requirements
- HACCP Certification (Level 4 preferred)
- ISO knowledge/certification is an advantage
- Additional food safety certifications beneficial
