Position Overview
This Forklift Operator role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, transporting materials to designated locations, assisting with packing and staging orders, and maintaining accurate counts of goods. You will perform routine equipment checks, adhere strictly to safety procedures, and communicate clearly with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operation & Material Movement
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouse and production areas
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments and transport materials to designated locations
Packing, Staging & Inventory Accuracy
- Assist with packing and staging orders
- Maintain accurate counts of goods
Safety & Team Coordination
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and perform routine equipment checks
- Communicate clearly with warehouse, production, and logistics teams for smooth workflow and timely dispatch
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensing Requirements (REQUIRED)
- Valid forklift license or certification, with knowledge of applicable safety standards and procedures
Experience Requirements (REQUIRED)
- Strong forklift operation skills, including safe maneuvering, stacking, and handling of materials
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and logistics coordination
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting, ideally industrial
Essential Skills (REQUIRED)
- Proficiency in unloading and material handling, ensuring careful and efficient movement of goods
- Ability to support packing, order preparation, and staging activities
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced setting
- Basic reading and numeracy skills for inventory checks, labels, and documentation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work collaboratively with diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with warehouse systems is an advantage
