About the Role
You will design, implement and maintain control and instrumentation solutions for oncology research processes and laboratory operations. That means writing and reviewing control system specifications, selecting instrumentation, and making sure critical parameters in experimental setups and support systems are measured and monitored accurately. You will integrate control systems with existing equipment, troubleshoot performance issues and improve process stability and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain control and instrumentation solutions for research processes
- Develop and review control system specifications and select suitable instruments

- Prepare technical documentation and join remote meetings
- Support commissioning and validation, and follow applicable standards and protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong control systems design skills, including feedback loops, PID controllers and automation architectures
- Process control and instrumentation expertise: sensor selection, calibration, signal conditioning and monitoring
- Electrical engineering foundations, including wiring practices and safety standards
- Experience with PLC/DCS, SCADA or HMI, industrial communication protocols and data acquisition
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose issues remotely
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in control, electrical or instrumentation engineering preferred
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical or research experience, and ISO, GMP and GLP familiarity, are advantages
