About the Employer — Codewerk
What They Stand For: Enthusiasm for technology, innovation and reliability, with flat hierarchies, freedom and room to grow
What They Do: They get the systems of tomorrow to talk to each other, whether in trains or industrial plants
Where You Start: Karlsruhe or Berlin
Current Stage: A small company on its way to becoming a mid-sized one
Why This HR Role Stands Out
Build, Don’t Maintain: You help design and expand HR rather than inherit finished structures
Wide Responsibility: Take on many different topics, with a lot of freedom to decide how
Close to Leadership: Work directly with the management team and take part in decisions
Short Decision Paths: Your ideas can quickly turn into real changes
Position Overview
As you would expect in a small company, your area of responsibility covers all personnel processes, which you drive forward in close cooperation with the management. Recruiting and employer branding are part of your job, as are organizing and supporting feedback and goal-setting talks. You also spot which HR structures and offers the company still needs, and you carry those topics through yourself, either internally or with outside partners.
Why This Role Matters: A growing company lives or dies by the people it hires and keeps. As the person building HR, you shape how new colleagues are found, welcomed and rewarded, and you help the company grow without losing its culture.
