Position Overview
This Production Supervisor role involves supervising daily production activities in poultry and food processing operations. You will ensure production targets, yields, line efficiency, and manpower utilization meet approved plans, coordinate with multiple teams, monitor equipment operations, enforce food safety and quality standards including HACCP and ISO, ensure halal slaughter compliance, and manage production staff while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management
- Supervise daily production activities including live receiving, slaughtering and evisceration
- Ensure production targets, yields, line efficiency, and manpower utilization meet approved plans
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality Assurance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Monitor equipment start-up, changeovers, and shutdowns in compliance with SOPs
- Ensure halal slaughter practices are followed as per UAE regulations and company procedures
Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce HACCP plans, ISO standards, GMP, GHP, SOPs, SSOPs, and Work Instructions
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and pest control standards in all production areas
- Ensure compliance with UAE food safety and quality regulations
Occupational Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with UAE occupational health and safety regulations
- Enforce proper use of PPE and safe working practices
- Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Promote strong safety culture among production teams
Documentation & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate production, quality, food safety, and safety records
- Prepare daily and shift-wise production reports for management review
- Ensure proper documentation of all production activities
- Maintain compliance records for regulatory requirements
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
- Support implementation of Lean methodologies, 5S, waste reduction initiatives
- Drive productivity improvement initiatives
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement
People Management & Development
- Supervise, guide, and motivate production staff to meet performance requirements
- Conduct on-the-job training related to food safety, hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies
- Develop team capabilities and ensure compliance requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Requirements
- Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering
- OR DAE in Electrical Engineering
- OR DAE in Food Technology
- OR Any Graduation in relevant field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years hands-on experience in poultry or food processing production operations
- Complete understanding of broiler slaughterhouse operations is mandatory
- Experience working in UAE or GCC food manufacturing environments is preferred
- Production supervision and team management experience

- Strong knowledge of poultry processing and slaughterhouse operations
