Key Responsibilities

Daily Quality Control Inspections

  • Perform comprehensive daily quality control checks on all incoming raw materials before release into the production process
  • Conduct in-process quality inspections at all critical production stages to identify deviations and non-conforming goods
  • Inspect finished food products against established quality specifications and standards before release for dispatch
  • Accurately record and document all inspection findings, test results, and quality outcomes in daily QA/QC logs

GMP Monitoring & Production Floor Compliance

  • Monitor the production floor continuously to ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times
  • Enforce hygiene standards across all production areas — identifying and reporting non-compliance to the QA Manager
  • Verify that all production staff follow correct food handling, personal hygiene, and sanitation procedures throughout shifts
  • Report observations of GMP deviations, hygiene issues, or food safety risks promptly and follow up on corrective measures

Laboratory Calibration & Equipment Maintenance

  • Calibrate laboratory instruments and measurement equipment regularly to ensure accurate and reliable quality testing results
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date calibration records and equipment maintenance logs for all relevant lab instruments
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or calibration failures to the QA Manager without delay
  • Ensure all QC instruments are functioning correctly, properly maintained, and ready for daily inspection activities

Non-Conforming Product Isolation & Root-Cause Analysis

  • Identify, isolate, tag, and correctly segregate all non-conforming raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products
  • Assist the QA Manager in conducting systematic root-cause analysis investigations for quality deviations and product failures
  • Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of identified quality issues
  • Maintain detailed non-conformance documentation — ensuring all incidents are logged, investigated, and resolved with accountability

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a closely related scientific discipline
  • Additional certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, or UAE food safety regulations are a valued competitive advantage

Experience Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a QC Inspector within a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment
