Position Overview
This Quality Control Coordinator role focuses on managing quality of inbound/outbound products in warehouse as per quality standards set by company. You will be responsible for enforcing quality protocols, managing supplier performance, ensuring compliance with UAE food safety regulations, and maintaining cold chain integrity across tMart’s innovative grocery delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities
Inbound Quality Control
- Perform inbound QC checks (temperature, shelf life, labeling, product condition)
- Enforce FIFO/FEFO and proper product segregation
- Strong knowledge of cold chain and inbound inspection
- Apply butchery experience for fresh meat quality assessment
Warehouse Quality Management
- Monitor warehouse hygiene, storage conditions, and cold chain compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations
- Compliance with approved SOPs & procedures
- Maintain quality standards across DC/warehouse/FMCG retail operations
Supplier Management & Performance
- Lead product rejection and supplier non-conformance reporting
- Track supplier performance/evaluation and follow up on CAP (Corrective Action Plans)
- Strong coordination with operations and suppliers
Outbound Quality Assurance
- Conduct outbound quality checks before dispatch to stores
- Ensure products meet quality standards for 30-minute delivery service
- Quality-driven approach to customer satisfaction
KPI Management & Reporting
- Report & escalate on KPIs (rejections, wastage, deviations) to management timely
- Decision-making in fast-paced DC environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related Degree
Experience Requirements
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN BUTCHERY (Critical Requirement)
- At least 3 years QC experience in DC/warehouse/FMCG retail business/Cross dock/food operation
- Strong knowledge of cold chain and inbound inspection
Certifications
- HACCP certification preferred
- ISO Food Safety certification preferred
