Position Overview
This Senior Quotation Engineer – Busway Systems role delivers high-quality quotations within agreed timelines, interpreting customer specifications, single-line diagrams, layouts, and load schedules. You will prepare optimized LV busway configurations, routing concepts, and bill of materials, collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, engage with customers to clarify technical and commercial requirements, ensure quotations comply with applicable standards, manage multiple quotations simultaneously, and contribute to continuous improvement through cost-out opportunities and process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
Quotation Preparation & Technical Analysis
- Deliver high-quality quotations within agreed timelines, ensuring technical and commercial accuracy
- Interpret and analyze customer specifications, single-line diagrams, layouts, and load schedules
- Prepare optimized LV busway configurations, routing concepts, bill of materials, and pricing
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales Organizations, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and constraints
Compliance & Market Awareness
- Ensure quotations comply with applicable standards
- Stay informed on market and competitor offerings to improve quotation competitiveness
Pre-Sales Support & Workload Management
- Provide timely technical and commercial support to front-end sales teams during pre-bid and post-tender phases
- Manage multiple quotations simultaneously, prioritizing according to tender deadlines
- Maintain accurate quotation records and adhere to Eaton’s pricing governance processes
Continuous Improvement
- Identify cost-out opportunities, process efficiencies, and feedback for product enhancements
- Support other MLVS product quotations when required, alongside primary LV Busway focus
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Minimum BSc, preferably in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LV Busways
- Understanding of MV Switchgear and Transformers is a plus
- Insightful understanding of Data Centre, Industrial, and C&I market segments
Essential Skills
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in Turkish or Dutch is an asset
- Commercial acumen with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
