Position Overview
This Senior Financial Analyst role is accountable for tracking the company’s financial performance, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and supporting senior management in tactical and strategic decisions through periodic reports. You will consolidate financial statements, build financial models, identify trends and variances, drive process and policy improvements, and train and mentor Financial Analysts as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Forecasting
- Consolidate and analyze financial statements, forecast revenues and expenditures
- Create financial models for decision support
- Perform variance studies and comparative performance analysis, developing forecast models accordingly
Strategic Planning & Business Support
- Support the management team in developing financial plans and determining the best use of resources
- Identify trends, track financial performance, and provide optimization recommendations
- Consult with the management team to guide strategic decision-making and support projects as needed
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Generate periodic reports and work closely with accounting/finance teams for accurate reporting
- Develop, update, and drive process and policy improvements to optimize workflows
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
Business Insight & Team Development
- Understand various departments and divisions, providing ideas to grow and improve the business
- Maintain knowledge of new financial regulations or policies
- Oversee the daily activities of Financial Analysts and mentor as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-driven role
- Experience analyzing data across multiple regions, product portfolios, and business units
- Preferably from the IT industry or a technology-driven environment
Essential Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights
- Proven ability to analyze key business metrics including sales performance, profitability, KPIs, and variance analysis
- Experience leveraging AI-powered analytics and reporting tools
- Advanced proficiency in AI tools for Excel, data analysis, chart and dashboard creation is mandatory
- Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data visualization
