Position Overview
This Software Developer role covers the full software development lifecycle, from analyzing business requirements to designing, testing and deploying systems. You’ll work with experienced team members on root cause analysis, code reviews and unit testing, while also recommending performance improvements and resolving complex technical design issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test and implement new systems and software applications
- Design and update system/software databases, web sites and user interfaces
- Test, maintain and recommend improvements for functionality and optimization
- Install, customize and integrate system/software packages
- Conduct root cause analysis, code reviews and unit testing with the team
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and present recommendations to management
- Resolve complex technical design issues and operational requirements
- Review and analyze user requirements, conversion requirements and design documents
- Support internal customers and resolve technical problems or issues
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: B.S./B.A. or M.B.A./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2-4 years in analysis, programming, design, debugging and testing
- Programming: C#, Python
- Reporting Tools: SSRS, Power BI
- ETL Tools: SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Fabric Data Factory
- Other Skills: Strong SQL, Git, Visual Studio/VS Code, Azure DevOps, REST API development
- AI Tools: Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of real-time event streaming platforms like Kafka
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Snowflake
- Prior financial industry experience
