 Position Overview
This Stewarding Manager role at Towers Rotana is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of the quarterly inventory count, ensuring accurate tabulation of breakage and proposing equipment purchases. You will control the quality of washing equipment, chinaware, glassware, and flatware, supervise silverware burnishing and kitchen cleaning, choose proper cleaning agents and processes, conduct technical job knowledge training, and coordinate closely with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Outlet Manager on daily requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Hygiene, Cleanliness & Equipment Control
- Enforce the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities and operating equipment
- Control quality of washing equipment, chinaware, glassware, and flatware
- Supervise burnishing of silverware, kitchen cleaning, and garbage disposal
- Choose proper cleaning agents and processes, and conduct technical job knowledge training
Inventory & Expense Management
- Plan, organize, and execute the quarterly inventory count
- Ensure accurate tabulation of all breakage and propose the purchase of operating equipment
- Assist in controlling Food & Beverage divisional expenses through proper chemical usage and equipment handling
- Educate outlets on breakage costs and safety issues to reduce operational losses
Compliance & Coordination
- Liaise with the local Health Ministry on all environmental issues and keep relevant parties informed
- Coordinate with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Outlet Manager on daily and next-day requirements
Training & Onboarding
- Responsible for the orientation of new employees
- Prepare a utilities induction checklist and arrange on-the-job training
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Ideally a degree in hospitality with previous experience in the Stewarding Department within a hotel
