Supply Chain Manager Jobs Munich 2026

Filics, a Munich-based company reinventing intralogistics with autonomous mobile robots, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) to build the supply chain that takes its robots into series production. The role is being recruited through pplwise, a recruiting consultancy for fast-growing technology companies. Filics’ AMRs use a double-runner system that can drive through load carriers such as Euro pallets, which is why the company’s hardware is in demand. Right now the company has hundreds of components, many from a single source and most not yet under contract. As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll take full ownership of how every component is sourced, secured, and managed; identify critical dependencies and lock in availability through supplier contracts; qualify alternative components so no single source can stop production; set up the ERP and supply systems, including supplier quality tracking; define quality criteria with Engineering; give the assembly team forward visibility for planning builds; and turn supply analysis into input for leadership’s volume commitments. The position is on-site or hybrid in Munich, close to engineering and assembly.

About Filics — Autonomous Robots for Intralogistics

Company: Filics, a Munich-based intralogistics technology company

Product: Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) with a double-runner system

Advantage: Drives through Euro pallets and other load carriers

Team: Small, hands-on team focused on engineering excellence

Recruiter: pplwise, a Europe-focused recruiting consultancy

Supply Chain Manager Role — Building Supply for Series Production

Department: Supply Chain & Procurement

Primary Focus: Component sourcing, supplier contracts, supply risk management

Scope: Full supply chain for robots moving from prototype to series production

Mission: Building a robust, scalable supply chain that never stops the line

Supply Chain Manager Position Overview

The Supply Chain Manager role at Filics is a rare chance to build a supply chain from the ground up. Filics robots are assembled from hundreds of components, and many of them come from a single source without a contract in place. As the company moves from prototypes into series production, one missing part can halt an entire assembly line. Your job is to change that. You’ll map exactly what the business depends on, secure those parts before they become a problem, and make sure the supply base holds up as volumes grow, all while production is already running. Ownership is total. You’ll decide how every component is sourced, secured, and managed, and you’ll work closely with Engineering, which owns the technical specifications and qualifies suppliers and alternative parts. Your work with the assembly team gives them the forward visibility they need to plan builds, and your supply analysis feeds directly into the volume commitments set by leadership. Systems matter too. You’ll set up the ERP and the tools the supply chain runs on, including supplier quality tracking, and define clear quality criteria for suppliers and components alongside Engineering. Once supply is stable, the next step is to reduce component prices and move toward a leaner bill of materials, so that the product becomes more competitive as it scales.

As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll build deep expertise in hardware sourcing, supplier qualification, and the practical realities of bringing a new product into series production. The ideal candidate has several years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing for hardware products such as robotics, automotive, machinery, or electronics, and has moved products from prototype to series production before. A solid grasp of bills of materials, component sourcing, supplier qualification, and supplier quality is essential, along with strong negotiation skills and a record of closing supplier contracts. You’ll be hands-on and structured, comfortable setting priorities and creating processes where none exist, and able to deliver. Clear and concise communication in English and German is required. For procurement and supply chain professionals in Munich who want full ownership and direct impact on a first-of-its-kind product, this is a role built for initiative.

Why This Role Matters: As Supply Chain Manager at Filics, you help bring a first-of-its-kind autonomous robot into series production, secure the components that determine whether the line keeps running, build supplier relationships and quality systems from scratch, give assembly and leadership the visibility they need, lower component costs as the product matures, and grow a senior career in hardware supply chain management.
