  • Build and maintain a continuously updated database of prequalified vendors across the DACH region — ensuring Mercury always has access to reliable, capable suppliers

2. Supply Chain Gap Support & BI Insights

  • Use insights from Mercury’s internal BI dashboards — covering workload, supplier performance, capacity, and category coverage — to understand where new vendors are needed
  • Support category and project teams by proactively sourcing vendors for identified supply chain gaps or overloaded trades before they impact project timelines
  • Circulate clear, concise summaries of supplier options and market findings to commercial, procurement, and project teams to support informed sourcing decisions

3. Vendor Meetings, Assessments & Information Flow

  • Attend supplier meetings — both virtual and in-person across the DACH region — to assess vendor fit and gather commercial and technical capability information

  • Ensure all vendor information is complete, compliant, and properly verified before any supplier is approved for tender or active project engagement
  • Collaborate closely with Mercury’s commercial, legal, and HSQE teams to ensure all onboarded vendors meet Mercury’s standards and regulatory requirements

5. Industry Events, Trade Fairs & Network Building

  • Represent Mercury professionally at trade fairs, supplier forums, and industry networking events across the DACH region and broader European construction market
  • Identify emerging vendors, innovative technologies, and specialist services at industry events that are relevant to Mercury’s upcoming project pipeline across the DACH region
  • Maintain a proactive presence in the DACH construction supply chain community — continuously strengthening Mercury’s reputation as a partner of choice for leading vendors
