Position Overview
The Supply Supervisor at ADNOC Distribution in Abu Dhabi is a full-time, senior operational role responsible for assisting the Department Manager in ensuring continuous and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products to all ADNOC Distribution Depots throughout the UAE. You will prepare 13-week and weekly product requirement programs, coordinate daily supply with Abu Dhabi Refinery (TAKREER) and ADNOC Marketing, receive and verify tank-gauging reports, coordinate pipeline and tanker deliveries, manage PDN/PTN requirements, prepare monthly stock comparison statements, and carry out regular depot visits across UAE locations to ensure compliance and smooth product flow — all within ADNOC’s established operational and financial frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
Product Supply Planning & Program Preparation
- Receive Refined Products Term Contract quantity requirements from Retail and Corporate Sales Divisions and prepare estimated product requirement quantities for the year with monthly breakdown — forwarding to Abu Dhabi Logistics Manager for review and Logistics Division Manager for approval
- Prepare and forward weekly programs for 13-week estimated product quantity requirements to the Department Manager and Logistics Division Manager for approval — distributing to ADNOC Marketing Directorate, Refined Product Division, Gas & Special Products Division, Corporate Sales, and Aviation Division Managers
- Prepare monthly comparison statements between products requirements from ADNOC Marketing, actual receipts, and product off-take from depots to monitor supply performance against planning targets
- Prepare the yearly capital budget for the supply function and forward to the Department Manager to be incorporated into the Department’s overall budget submission
Daily Supply Coordination — TAKREER & ADNOC Marketing
- Send daily emails to Abu Dhabi Refinery (TAKREER) requesting product supply — including pipeline supply for JET-A1 for Aviation Operations Depot and other requirements supplied by tankers
- Receive daily product stock positions from all UAE Depots — reviewing, monitoring trends, and following up on any product availability or inventory level concerns immediately
- Coordinate with ADNOC Marketing Refined Products Divisions and Abu Dhabi Refinery to ensure product availability aligns with the approved 13-week product requirement program
- Coordinate with Mussafah Control Room Officer and Al Ain Depot Supply Officer for arranging product receipts as per 13-week requirement programs — advising Abu Dhabi Refinery on pumping sequence and quantity targets for pipeline transfers to Al Ain
Aviation, Vessel Nominations & Tank-Gauging Verification
- Receive vessel nominations for lifting JET-A1 from the Aviation Division and forward to ADNOC Marketing (RPD) for supplying to Sharjah International Airport Depot
- Receive tank-gauging reports from Abu Dhabi Refinery for products received from Sas Al Nakhl Terminal and Mussafah Depot — verifying tank levels and confirming quantity calculations
- Check certificates of quantity for products received from Abu Dhabi Refinery and verify the correctness of tank levels against gauging reports and calculated transfer quantities
Documentation, PDN/PTN & Contractor Management
- Check and certify contractors’ vehicle monthly statements of deliveries — submitting for approval by the Abu Dhabi Logistics Department Manager before forwarding to Financial Accounts Department
- Assess and prepare PDN/PTN annual requirements — submitting to the Abu Dhabi Logistics Department Manager for review and approval
- Investigate and follow up on loaded pending PTN/PDNs with the Dispatch Officer — informing the Department Manager of status and required actions
- Check monthly stock and movement statements for Mussafah, SAN Terminal, and Zayed Depot — forwarding to Abu Dhabi Logistics Department Manager for review and approval
Depot Visits, Team Management & Compliance
- Prepare leave schedules and conduct annual performance appraisals for Supply Assistants — supporting team development and operational continuity
- Carry out periodical visits and inspections across different depot locations across the UAE — meeting with counterpart supply personnel to facilitate product supply and enhance compliance with established procedures
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the Department Manager as operational needs arise across ADNOC Distribution’s UAE-wide supply network
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is required for this Supply Supervisor position at ADNOC Distribution in Abu Dhabi
- Additional qualifications or certifications in supply chain management, logistics, or petroleum operations are a professional advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in petroleum terminal operations and product supply — ideally within the UAE oil and gas distribution or logistics sector
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-depot product supply programs, manage 13-week planning cycles, and liaise effectively with refinery and marketing stakeholders
- Good knowledge of Arabic and English languages — both written and spoken — required for all internal and external communication within the ADNOC organization
