Position Overview
This Special Process Operator role involves executing special process operations including heat treatment, blasting, shot peening, and coating in accordance with approved procedures and quality requirements. You will support daily production requirements, monitor equipment performance and perform basic troubleshooting, follow work instructions and technical process sheets, support shop floor flow, and participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Special Process Execution
- Execute special process operations including heat treatment, blasting, shot peening, and coating per approved procedures
- Support daily production requirements, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with customer demand
- Follow work instructions, technical process sheets, and operating standards for repeatability and compliance
Equipment Reliability & Shop Floor Support
- Monitor equipment performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with maintenance teams
- Support shop floor flow and operational efficiency through effective execution and teamwork
- Maintain strong housekeeping, ownership, and accountability within the assigned work area
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, lean initiatives, and site projects

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in a relevant field from an accredited university or college, or a high school degree with relevant work experience
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations
- Qualified to operate special processes including Heat Treatment, Blasting, and Shot Peening
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards, hazard awareness, and special process controls
