Position Overview
The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP EWM solutions covering warehouse operations, inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics, spare parts handling, and warehouse automation for a leading Power Generation Equipment organization undergoing a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Why This Role Matters:Â As SAP EWM Consultant, you lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions, conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops and gathering business requirements, configure warehouse structures, storage types, putaway, picking, and replenishment processes, implement cross-docking, Value-Added Services, and Handling Unit management, integrate SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, TM, PM, PP, and QM modules, support RF Framework, SAP Fiori, warehouse automation, and barcode/RFID integration, and support data migration, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare through to post-go-live production support.
Key Responsibilities
SAP EWM Implementation & Configuration
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather business requirements
- Configure warehouse structures, storage types, storage bins, work centers, and process types
Warehouse Process Configuration
- Configure putaway, picking, replenishment, and inbound/outbound logistics
- Manage internal warehouse movements and physical inventory processes
- Configure Handling Unit (HU), batch, and serial number management
Advanced Warehouse Solutions
- Implement cross-docking and Value-Added Services (VAS)
- Design warehouse processes supporting equipment manufacturing, spare parts distribution, and rental logistics
Integration & Go-Live Support
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, TM, PM, PP, and QM
- Support RF Framework, SAP Fiori, warehouse automation, barcode/RFID, APIs, IDocs, and SAP BTP
- Support data migration, SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline
Experience Requirements
- 6-8 years of SAP consulting experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP EWM
- Experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation projects
Essential Skills
- Strong expertise in warehouse structure, storage types, inbound/outbound processing, and putaway/picking strategies
- Strong integration experience with SAP MM, SD, TM, PM, PP, QM, and SAP S/4HANA
- Good understanding of RF Framework, SAP Fiori, warehouse automation, and barcode/RFID
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
- Willingness to work onsite at the applicable client location
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Power Generation Equipment, Industrial Equipment, Heavy Engineering, or Utilities
- SAP S/4HANA EWM certification
