Position Overview
As a Security Consultant with CYBERR, your responsibilities will include assessing and advising on the security posture of organizations, helping identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and implement best practices. You’ll work closely with leadership and technical teams to develop robust security strategies, conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analyses, develop and enforce security policies across various domains, and assist organizations in preparing for audits and certifications.

Key Responsibilities
Security Assessment & Advisory
- Assess and advise on the security posture of organizations, identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating risks
- Conduct thorough security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to identify potential weaknesses
- Provide actionable recommendations for improvement
Strategy Development & Policy Enforcement
- Work closely with leadership and technical teams to develop and implement robust security strategies
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across network, application, cloud, and data security domains
- Align security strategies with business goals while meeting regulatory requirements
Compliance & Certification Support
- Assist organizations in preparing for audits and certifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations like NIST, ISO, and GDPR
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Strong experience consulting on cybersecurity solutions, including risk management, security architecture, and compliance
- Comfortable working with a wide range of clients, providing strategic guidance and hands-on implementation support
- Experience with cloud security, enterprise security solutions, and compliance audits highly desirable
Essential Skills
- Deep understanding of security frameworks and best practices, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of helping organizations enhance their security posture
Preferred Certifications
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other relevant credentials are a plus
