Key Responsibilities
Concept Design & Brand-Aligned Store Environments
- Conceptualize and develop innovative, functional, and brand-aligned retail store designs from initial concept through to completion
- Ensure every store design authentically reflects the company’s luxury brand identity while delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience
- Apply awareness of current retail design trends, brand identity principles, and local UAE compliance standards to all design proposals
- Produce high-quality design presentations, drawings, and visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools
Project Management — New Stores & Renovations
- Manage store renovation and new store projects end-to-end — including layout planning, design approval, vendor coordination, and on-site supervision
- Track and deliver key performance indicators — quality standards, space utilization efficiency, project timelines, and budget compliance
- Monitor project schedules proactively — identifying risks, managing delays, and driving activities to on-time, on-budget completion
- Support planning applications and authority approvals for retail fit-out works in line with local compliance and mall management requirements
Contractor & Vendor Management
- Oversee contractor selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring to maintain luxury brand standards throughout construction and fit-out
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design quality, cost efficiency, and timeline adherence
- Resolve design and execution challenges related to layout, lighting, material finishes, and fixture specifications as they arise on site
- Coordinate with suppliers for material procurement, fixture manufacturing, and installation scheduling across the project programme
Stakeholder Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across retail operations, marketing, and brand teams to align design outcomes with commercial and brand objectives
- Conduct on-site supervision to verify that construction and fit-out works match approved designs, specification, and quality benchmarks
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail across lighting, materials, fixtures, spatial flow, and visual merchandising zones in every store
- Produce accurate project documentation including design drawings, specifications, tender packages, and post-completion handover records
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design field (REQUIRED)
Experience Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in retail store design or interior design — project management experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience delivering retail store projects from concept to completion — new builds and/or renovations
- Experience working with apparel, luxury, or premium retail brand environments is a strong advantage
