Position Overview
This Social Gaming Attendant role involves proactively greeting guests, explaining game rules, and creating an energetic, inclusive atmosphere in the Social Gaming Zone. You will prepare and set up gaming stations, monitor equipment functionality, handle payments and game credit procurement, ensure a safe and respectful environment, and assist with upselling food, beverages, or gaming packages.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Gaming Zone Management
- Oversee the Social Gaming Zone to ensure a safe, organised, and high-quality environment
- Proactively greet guests, explain game rules, and provide equipment instructions
- Encourage participation and create an energetic, inclusive atmosphere
- Promote ongoing activities and special events
Equipment, Payments & Safety
- Prepare and set up gaming stations before opening, monitoring equipment functionality
- Report technical issues or equipment damage to the maintenance team
- Handle payments and oversee procurement of game cards or credits
- Monitor guest behaviour and enforce venue rules and gaming policies
Team Collaboration & Upselling
- Resolve customer inquiries and minor complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist with upselling food, beverages, or gaming packages when appropriate
- Work effectively with beverage runners and bartenders to maintain seamless operations
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents and report to management
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of six months to one year of direct work experience
- 1+ years of work experience with the Gaming Industry
- 1+ years of work experience with Food and Beverage Operations
Essential Skills
- POS systems experience and mathematical aptitude for handling transactions and game credits
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and the public
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
