- Define and oversee Yak Biergarten’s overall technology vision and roadmap
- Evaluate and implement systems supporting reservations, POS, inventory, and data analytics
- Collaborate with leadership to align technology investments with business goals
Development & Architecture Oversight
- Manage software development efforts and guide product and platform decisions
- Oversee IT architecture, including robust, secure, and scalable technology ecosystems
- Strengthen integration with Yak Brewing Co.’s processes
Vendor Coordination & Standards
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Establish technology standards, security practices, and scalability plans
- Improve digital customer experiences to support long-term growth and innovation
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Essential Skills
- Strong background in Software Development and Product Development, building and scaling customer-facing and internal systems
- Proficiency in IT Strategy and Architecture, designing robust, secure, and scalable technology ecosystems
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, leading cross-functional initiatives and coordinating remote teams and vendors
- Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions, communicating clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with cloud-based tools, data security best practices, and third-party system integration
- Proven leadership experience in a senior technology role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or F&B technology platforms (POS, reservations, CRM, analytics)
- Prior CTO or Head of Engineering experience is a plus
