We need a Quality Controller on our production line to start immediately, checking raw materials, packaging, and finished cans against specification across Brix, pH, CO₂ volume, fill level, and seam quality.

Salary: AED 3,000 – 4,500/month plus visa and medical insurance per UAE law

Position Overview
This Quality Controller role checks raw materials, packaging, and finished cans against specification, running line checks during every production run and placing failing batches on hold. You will keep HACCP, GMP, and CIP cleaning records complete and audit-ready, take retention samples and run shelf-life and lab checks, investigate complaints and non-conformances to find and close root causes, support Dubai Municipality and ESMA inspections and supplier approvals, and report daily to the founder and production team.
Why This Role Matters: As Quality Controller, you protect the quality and safety of every can of sparkling water and cola reaching around 1,500 stores across the UAE, apply hands-on lab skills across Brix, pH, CO₂, and titration testing that directly determine whether a batch ships or gets held, keep HACCP and GMP records audit-ready for Dubai Municipality and ESMA inspections, investigate and close non-conformances that protect brand reputation and consumer trust, and work closely with the founder and production team in a fast-moving, hands-on beverage manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Specification Checks & Line Testing
- Check raw materials, packaging, and finished cans against specification: Brix, pH, CO₂ volume, fill level, seam, date coding, and labels
- Run line checks during every production run and put any failing batch on hold
Compliance & Records
- Keep HACCP, GMP, and cleaning (CIP) records complete and audit-ready
Lab Testing & Sampling
- Take retention samples, run shelf-life and lab checks
- Keep lab equipment calibrated
Complaint Investigation & Non-Conformance Resolution
- Investigate complaints and non-conformances, find the cause, and close them
Regulatory Support & Reporting
- Support Dubai Municipality and ESMA inspections and supplier approvals
- Report daily to the founder and production team
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years in quality control inside a food or beverage manufacturing plant
- Beverage, water, juice, or dairy background is preferred
Certifications
- A valid HACCP certificate
- ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or GMP training is a plus
Technical Skills
- Hands-on lab skills: refractometer (Brix), pH meter, CO₂ tester, titration, microbiology sampling
Essential Skills
