- Own design, build, and run of the .NET services and BFF behind different core services related to booking, payments, and loyalty — taking full engineering ownership of the backend systems that power these commercially critical product areas, from initial design decisions through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational reliability on Azure
- Hold the integration contracts including failure handling, idempotency, and retry behaviour on transactions — owning the technical standards and implementation quality of all integrations with third-party transactional APIs, ensuring that partial failures, duplicate requests, and network errors are handled correctly and that commercial transactions — payments, booking confirmations, loyalty redemptions — are never silently lost or incorrectly duplicated
- Take part in root cause analysis on production failures and turn findings into fixes, logging, and guardrails — leading post-incident technical investigations, identifying underlying engineering causes rather than symptomatic fixes, and implementing the logging improvements, monitoring enhancements, and defensive coding patterns that prevent recurrence across the backend services

Hands-On Leadership & Code Review

Must-Have Requirements
- 7+ years building backend services in C# / .NET including 2+ years owning a production system — and still writing production code daily; this is a hands-on coding role, not a technical management position, and candidates who have moved away from daily code contribution are not the right profile
- Demonstrable daily use of agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, or equivalent) on production code — with concrete examples of what changed in delivery: scope, cycle time, test coverage, refactors that would not otherwise have been attempted; general familiarity with AI coding tools is insufficient — Globant requires evidence of integrated daily production use
