Position Overview
The Site Helper will assist technicians, maintenance teams, facility staff, warehouse personnel, and other site employees with moving materials, preparing work areas, loading and unloading equipment, maintaining cleanliness, organizing tools and supplies, and completing general site support tasks at IT facilities in Dubai.
 Why This Role Matters: As Site Helper, you assist site, maintenance, facilities, warehouse, and technical teams with daily operational activities, support technicians during installation, repair, inspection, and servicing activities, load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, assist with handling and transportation of IT equipment, computers, cables, and networking equipment, prepare work areas before maintenance, installation, or facility activities, keep work areas, storage areas, and corridors clean and organized, and follow workplace health and safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe lifting practices throughout every task.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Assist site, maintenance, facilities, warehouse, and technical teams with daily operational activities
- Support technicians and maintenance staff during installation, repair, and servicing activities
Material Handling
- Load, unload, move, carry, and organize tools, equipment, materials, and supplies
- Assist with handling and transportation of IT equipment, computers, cables, and networking equipment
Work Area Preparation & Cleanliness
- Prepare work areas before maintenance, installation, repair, or facility activities
- Keep work areas, storage areas, corridors, and loading areas clean and organized
Safety & Emergency Support
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe lifting practices
- Support emergency, maintenance, and urgent site activities as directed by management
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Helper, General Helper, Site Assistant, or Maintenance Helper preferred
- Previous experience in an IT company, commercial building, warehouse, or construction environment is an advantage
