We are hiring an MSP Engineer to operate client Cloudflare environments, combining reactive incident management with structured, proactive engineering — not simply a ticket queue.

 Position Overview
This MSP Engineer role involves detecting and investigating issues before clients report them, resolving incidents within committed service levels, and executing production changes under controlled processes across the Cloudflare stack — WAF, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, bot management, CDN, DNS, TLS, load balancing, Zero Trust, and Workers. You will maintain configuration as code using Terraform, deliver scheduled proactive engineering activities, and collaborate closely with client NOC and security teams.

 Key Responsibilities
Service Operations & Incident Response
- Staff the client intake channel, triage requests, and own first response within committed service levels
- Diagnose and resolve incidents across WAF, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, bot management, CDN, DNS, TLS, Zero Trust, and Workers
- Qualify monitoring alerts and act using documented runbooks, escalating early per the escalation matrix
- Maintain accurate ticket records in Jira, supporting service-level reporting
Change Execution & Infrastructure as Code
- Execute production configuration changes under formal change control with rollback plans
- Provide named technical coverage during declared client go-live windows
- Maintain Cloudflare configuration as code using Terraform and version control
- Investigate and resolve configuration drift identified through automated nightly comparisons
Proactive Engineering & Collaboration
- Deliver scheduled proactive activities including security-posture audits and cache/rate-limit calibration
- Analyse traffic and security telemetry to identify potential problems before they affect clients
- Write and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and configuration documentation in Confluence
- Work closely with client NOC and security teams during major incident bridges
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in network, security, or cloud operations
- Solid working knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, proxies, caching, and CDN mechanics
- Practical Cloudflare experience across WAF, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, bot management, CDN, and DNS
Essential Skills
- Confidence using diagnostic tools including curl, dig, traceroute, and HAR analysis
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and Git/version control
- Scripting capability using Python or Bash
- Full professional fluency in both French and English (hard requirement, assessed at interview)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within managed services, NOC, or SOC environments
- Familiarity with Jira Service Management and ITIL-aligned processes
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Arabic language skills for supporting BRIXIO’s Gulf accounts
