Humble Umbel Farm, a two-acre vegetable and flower farm outside Hillsborough, is hiring one full-time Farm Crew Member to start in December 2026. You will work on almost every part of production, from seeding to the farmers market. No farm experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Greenhouse seeding, bed preparation and spreading compost.
- Planting, weeding, irrigation, trellising and crop removal.
- Harvesting vegetables and flowers.
- Washing and packing produce, and bunching flowers.
- Selling at farmers markets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Reliable, self-motivated and a quick learner.
- Good time management and a positive attitude in any weather.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and stand or squat for long periods.
- Genuine interest in vegetable and flower production.
- Farm or manual labor experience is valued but not required.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, usually 8 am to 4:30 pm in cooler months and 6 am to 3 pm in the heat, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
