Position Overview
This Server – Russian Speaker role involves welcoming and acknowledging guests warmly, communicating confidently with Russian-speaking guests to understand their needs, and presenting menus with recommendations. You will take and process orders accurately, serve food and beverages per service standards, coordinate with kitchen and bar teams, and handle guest feedback professionally, escalating concerns when needed.

 Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Russian Language Communication
- Welcome and acknowledge guests in a warm, friendly, professional manner
- Communicate confidently with Russian-speaking guests, understanding needs and preferences
- Present menus, explain offerings, and provide recommendations when required
Order Service & Coordination
- Take and accurately process guest orders, communicating special requests and dietary needs
- Serve food and beverages efficiently per established service standards
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, stewarding, and other departments for smooth service
Standards, Cleanliness & Guest Resolution
- Maintain tables, service areas, and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Assist with opening/closing procedures, including mise-en-place and replenishment
- Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating to Supervisor or Manager as needed
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and hotel standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality qualification an advantage
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in a food and beverage operation, preferably luxury hotel or upscale restaurant
Essential Skills
- Fluent Russian language skills required
- Good command of English; additional languages an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
