Job Overview
This packaging technologist career in Saudi Arabia puts you at the centre of packaging innovation. You will lead the development, testing and rollout of new packaging across Almarai and its suppliers, support New Product Development (NPD) projects, and act as Packaging Development Lead on promotional packaging.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the introduction of new packaging specifications across Almarai and its suppliers
- Plan, run and report on packaging trials for performance and feasibility
- Advise on packaging design, material selection and functionality
- Work with NPD, Procurement, Quality and Operations teams
- Solve packaging, logistics and supply chain challenges
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainable packaging technology
- Ensure food safety, quality and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Food Technology or a related field
- Packaging Technology diploma or certification preferred
- 5+ years of packaging development experience in FMCG, food or beverage
- Proven experience managing packaging trials
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design and supply chain
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Track record of delivering results and managing stakeholders
